Pat Forde on football and engineering

What a completely dumbass statement.
It is a completly accurate statement. You may find an outlier or two, but the vast majority of students I've met go in with dreams of Electrical, Mechanical, or other engineering discipline.

Untrue. Their leftist cesspool of a journalism major is highly ranked.
Graduate from that progtam and be qualified to "work" for free at HuffPost along with the stay-at-home moms.

My girlfriend's son is a sports journalist from UGAg, but he got his degree in Statistics. Even he knows the Journalism degree doesn't get you far.

My beloved little brother had a journalism degree from the cesspool. He's not an idiot, so he now works in IT and makes three times the money.

I'm a management grad. I had lots of classes with football players and even some group projects with football players.

Management classes are not EMag or thermo, but they aren't exactly easy either. The ones that were "easy" were a shit ton of work usually in group projects which is an inherent PITA. But I'd never say that it's as hard as engineering classes....especially when Calculus was my path straight to management.

But I'll also say this - GT athletes are not the mouthbreathing idiots that you have at other schools. With a few exceptions, I found them to be engaged in the coursework, working hard to do well, and relatively reliable for group work.

Re Rosen: Nothing pisses me off more than a football player who is going to school for free, has priority classes, free tutoring, and staff assigned to them passing bitch about having to work hard. SAs outside of football do this all the ööööing time without crying about it. No, you don't get to party every night, and yes it's supposed to be hard. Man the öööö up and shut your damn mouth.
Rower you ought to try it, you piece of ship.
