Says the guy who has started exactly two threads in this forum in 2023. A thread to let everyone know that Olivia Dunn takes in the most NIL money of any college athlete which has zero to do with football and this thread.

Be the change you want to see.
 
It's truly shocking and abhorrent that GT football fans have interest in our rivals and former players. And as if that wasn't bad enough, it seems most of our fans also like to discuss the sport in general.

We're never going to succeed as a program until we fix this. Let other fans have fun discussing the biggest story in the sport. Let them treat their fandom like a hobby instead of the job it should be.

We're here to work, not have fun, and it's time for us to eliminate those distractions; it will surely pay off come fall when we wipe the floor with those other fanbases.
 
I am no longer going to look at any of our opponents. When they take the field against us, I'm gonna say "who TF is that?" "Why are grown men barking like tards?" "Boston College? Is that Harvard?" "That Cavman dude seems a bit on the fruity side" "I think I touched one of those Miami people and have the VD now"

You know how when you move something that's been there a long time and there is now a spot with no dust surrounded by a lot of dust. Pretty sure VT's trophy case is 100% dust - no spot where there's no dust.
 
This thread started out like VT's trophy case but is now headed towards 4 NC territory.

This. I am thinking the factories are going to branch off into their own league and leave the rest to being colleges again but its happening much slower than I would like to see.
 
The real problem is the amount of money two conferences have exploded to. GaTech as an academic institution will have difficulty competing with Alabama and UGA soon. With $50M to $100M to spend each year, the trickle down will be enormous on their academic side. See ND for the first example.
