Paul Johnson Raising The Standard at Georgia tech

Lost me....course that's easy to do but Dook in my book out coaches us every yesr
Our toughest opponent until the 80's was Duke- you youngsters dont know Tech football history ! With the long history they were once a year in year out pain in the ass !!!

The team you call Puke has been to three straight bowls. They played in a CFP Bowl in 2013. They are recruiting like crazy. They have more talent than Pitt, UVA, and probably VT.

You sound ignorant. Three straight bowls makes them a current era perennial power.
Duke is on a trajectory far different from Georgia Tech. Your "greatest coach ever" is not recruiting like crazy, has not been to three straight bowls, and does not have more talent that Pitt, UVA, or VPI. Or Miami, or Duke. The future is ominous for our Yellow Jackets.

Big cry the man all you want, but he's speaking logically. Duke is doing some great things right now and it would be foolish to take a "dook" on them without considering their recent success-- on the field and with recruits. Tech is obviously the better football brand, but Duke is certainly on the rise.

I'm a big Paul Johnson fan and I have faith in our guys, but that doesn't mean that traditionally weak programs can't step up their game. Baylor is a recent example
