Paul Johnson/Ted Roof

See, the problem with your position is that people were saying the exact same thing during the Chan years... and during the GOL years... and during every other coach's tenure.

...which is why we are so incredibly lucky to have CPJ as a coach. The hire was genius, and no hire will be more genius.

Why a bunch of garbage. Jesus, listen to yourself.

Also, I cant believe I haven't been temporarily banned again yet. I guess BeeStorm and the other staff members are letting this one slide. Usually, unless you sugar coat a subject on here no one wants to hear the reality of the situation! Shucks

This is a perfectly okay position to have, if you also understand and accept that 3 ACCCG appearances in 10 years is our ceiling, and we are already at our ceiling given our situation.
When Braine said our ceiling was 7-5, he got canned. I gaurantee you you’re Jesus coach does not consider this the ceiling. We may have steeper stairs to climb, Hell we may be missing a few steps, but we ain’t at our ceiling. It can always be better.

I mostly agree. We're definitely playing football with a hand tied behind our back, and no amount of coaching genius or fundraising will change that.

I thought everything I've said is a pretty valid point and not some gif or clever comment to add no reason to a football argument. You are probably one of the guys that donate like 200 a year to the school because that's all you can afford.. half of the "Dodd-Like" members here have now used Stingtalk as comedic relief instead of actual football talk. Its all good though, Im sure halfway through next season you will see the light.
All I heard was a bunch of cicada chirping. If you want to be taken seriously, start posting after a big win as well after a loss.

Bobby Dodd retired after the 1966 season.

In the subsequent 51 years, Georgia Tech has finished a season in the Top 25 a total of 12 times. Paul Johnson is responsible for 3 of those seasons.

In the subsequent 51 years, Georgia Tech has finished a season in the Top 15 a total of 5 times. Paul Johnson is responsible for 2 of those seasons.

In the subsequent 51 years, Georgia Tech has finished a season in the Top 10 a total of 3 times. Paul Johnson is responsible for 1 of those seasons.

In the subsequent 51 years, Georgia Tech has had 18 losing seasons. Paul Johnson is responsible for 3 of those seasons.

Paul Johnson has been Tech's coach for about 20 percent of those 51 seasons. He's responsible for 25 percent of your Top 25 finishes, 40 percent of your Top 15 finishes, and 33 percent of your Top 10 finishes. He's responsible for 17 percent of your losing seasons.

Fire Johnson, don't fire Johnson. I don't care. But I figured I'd put his tenure in perspective with the program's history.

That’s fair enough. In my defense I didn’t have the chance to a lot this season. I do see where you are coming from though. Is having an opinion on a coach so bad though if the person agrees or not?

Yeah, but I call Johnson a loser on here all the time. You just showed up after the UGA game. That tends to ruffle people’s feathers a bit more.
Surprised they allow it from a “Dodd-Like” member!!
