had some strong recruiting the first couple of years but seemed to taper off. and of course, the DL never amounted to much of anything under him.
 
Pelton got us ZERO sacks by one of our starting DE's this year who was a Senior.

Woody needs to bring in whomever he wants for the D. If he doesn't want McCollum hopefully PJ will find a suitable role for McCollum. If our D improves at all next year we should be able to grind out 8 wins. If we are seeing good steps next year and the following year I hope there is room in the budget to give Woody a raise. If it all falls flat we will be looking for a new HC.
 
How in the öööö is sewak still a coach for us? Somebody try and explain this to me?

You realize most of our recruiting for the 18 class is pretty much done. And coaches don't recruit by position - they recruit by geographic area. So the biggest thing isn't having a DC in place, it's not having someone assigned to take over the Gwinnett area CTR had, though I'm sure CPJ has got somebody on that beat now.
