Penn State Whiteout

So PSU is doing a whiteout for the game this weekend. Gameday is going to be there, and allegedly, people are going to bring blank white signs to hold up. I wish we could have that kind of cohesion.

I think we did against Clemson....... there was even a guy with a white board they kept showing on the jumbotron with stuff like "Shoul've kicked the field goal" after our TD.

I meant that people are going to bring blank posterboards to Gameday. But yeah that guy was funny

I thought our whiteout went really well. Probably percentage wise about as well as Penn State's will, but we have a smaller stadium and Clemson is really close to us.

It won't be as close percentage wise I think, but then again Penn St is the top show in the state for the most part. Also you are right, Clemson's fan base is probably bigger than Iowa's and Clemson is much closer to us.
For us on a Thurs night, it was a success for sure.

Penn State's white out's are a sight to behold. I wish we could get the effect that they do. But, they are also the defacto university up here, and they've been doing the white out thing for a few years.

They don't argue about shades of white, and they never have trouble filling the stadium with their fans, and the teams that they do play suck.

They've been doin Whiteouts for years. This really isn't something new, besides the Blank White signs

The were "coloring" OUT before this new trend started
 
Why not have a different "theme" for the fans each week, and everyone would show some creativity and dress accordingly? For example, this year could have been like this:

JSU: Wild Wild West
Clemson: Space Opera
UNC: Disco Party
Va Tech: Fun At The Circus
Wake Forest: Brothers Grimm
UGA: Pimps and Hoes

We could have awards for best costume at halftime.

Punch and cake will be served.

This is what they do at Duke games. Do you really want to be more like Duke football?

I would have thought Gameday would be covering Miami and VPI so they can announce to the world that da U is back!!

Nah..they're waiting to see if they beat VPI. If they beat VPI then OU/Miami for SURE is going to be gameday.

Can you imagine the storys if whatshisnuts comes back at QB for OU vs the U when they are 'back'?

It will be an ESPN slobberknockingfest.

UVA could be gay pride, since those Zima drinking Hoos are all a bit fruity.
