IF Miss. State beats Ole Miss Thursday night, Tech may end up in the Indepence Bowl or the Music City Bowl because the ACC is looking hard for a place for WF even at 6-6. Wow. It's still wide open.
Personally I'd rather have those two bowls over Charlotte. Charlotte is a nice city but it doesn't exactly offer a lot to do. OTOH, Shreveport (while certainly not a major city) does have some gambling & shows (for the family) and Nashville has a pretty good nightlife and the Grand Ole Opry (for the sightseers).
I also have no desire to go back to Seattle. I'm from there and love the city but the cost is large and puts way to big of a hit on the budget around Christmas.
Just my opinion. Go Bulldogs!!! (The MSU variety at least).
Hate to say it but I would love the Independence Bowl. Can't believe I am saying this given the amount of grief I have given folks whose team went to the Poulan Weedeater bowl. But since my daughter has moved there I think I will change my tune. Get a chance to see my new grandson.
