I've been hearing some rumors on the internets that Perriloux is out of the first two games of JSU's season. Can anyone confirm?

I've read this three or four times. I have a friend who goes to JSU and he said the starting QB is ivey or irvey. Something like that. But I would like to hear if its true one way or another.

Is this good or bad? I hear some people saying it would help our secondary if he was still in. But I would like a huge roll over personally.

my buddy's brother is at JSU (played with Dwyer in HS) and he tells me Periloux is suspended for that game.

What, his backup can't take a hand off?

Oh ****! You were talking SOUVENIR SALES!!!! ?

I guess we'll just have to play the game!

Probably former Northside Warner Robbins QB Marques Ivory. He signed with Jax St in '08.

I have heard some Jax St. people acknowledge this rumor. I am told that the actual reason/terms are still unknown, but that there is definitely something afoot. I am surprised that the media hasn’t caught wind of this yet. Jax St. is probably trying to keep this as quiet as possible. Ticket sales and the media attention garnered for their first the first two games against us and FSU would plummet if word got out.

Maybe JSU is trying to keep the number of hits their starting QB takes to a minimum.

If I were a D-IAA school, I would never let my starting QB play FSU. That is just beging for an injury.

If App. State had that attitude they would have never beaten Michigan.

Michigan isn't known as a dirty team. FSU perfected the art of the late hit. If I was a D-IAA school, I would never play FSU. It doesn't matter how much they pay.

Even though FSU is not the FSU of yesterday, their name still carries a lot of weight.

They are exactly who I would want to play if I were a D-IAA school. A school that is beatable with a ton of name recognition. If you lose, no one will notice...but if you win, you are App St. for the year.

If we had a week to recover, I'd like to face a decent challenge to make a good scrimmage out of it. We only get 5 days, so let's go up by 28 in the first quarter and rest the starters.

I hope he plays because he will be good practice for our defense to prepare them for Tyrod Taylor later this season. I remember us giving up a good amount of scramble yardage last year when we played JSU.

How good is Perriloux anyway? Will he be able to get drafted in the second or third round?

You cant be afraid of getting hit whether they play "dirty" or not. Let the refs do what they are paid to do. MustangGT hit the nail on the head.

What round would you draft someone who's similar to but not quite as good as Donovan McNabb and has a well-documented attitude and behavior problem?

EDIT: Now that I said that, expect him to throw 5 tds against us. I apologize to everyone.

It was so strange last year to see two Jax QB's with the number 11. I wonder if it was Perriloux or the back-up QB who refused to give up their number. Not sure who was there first.
