I remember a few years ago we had a good team and we laid an egg at Boston College with super fridge running the show.

And the year after that we laid an egg in Wake with a major bowl on the line.

I think what bothers most of us is we played so POORLY. If we had played well and lost we would not be SO worried about our coaches. Then we would be worried about our players.

Coaching can improve, but talent cannot. The HOPE is that if this team gets properly prepared we should have the opportunity to win almost all of our games.

We will win more games then most of these faithless GT fans think.Starting next week with BYU.

I think we are just all disappointed.... it would be easy to say the rain played a part in it.. but Clemson played in the same rain.

My thoughts...

I didnt like us opening in the nickle package, and staying in it...

I didnt like our playcalling on offense.... especially early in the game...

Offense seems tight

Not to call anyone out... but inconsistency at the QB slot is a problem... Suggs doesnt seem comfortable back there at times... (happy feet etc..) I could say that Clemson had alot to do with this... but I have seen the same inconsistencies in the first two games as well... passes dead on on one play... in the general area the next...

Just as in years past, we are giving up the "big" 3rd downs on defense too much...

Clemson executed... we didnt...

I am anxious to see how we rebound next week...
