PJ and Georgia Tech.....

TB will make an excellent backup if our other three QBs go down.

or just maybe TB proves all naysayers wrong and pulls a "Goose".. It hurts to see no confidence in a person's ability to improve and get better. Coaching can make all the difference, let the depth chart be filled out during the preseason and stop doubting these guys!

I guess my statement earlier didn't support him too much either - I really like TB. He is a hard worker and a good representative of GT. I'll look forward to seeing what he can do for someone who will coach him up, but I also don't want him to play a down if he's not the best at his position. I'm confident that PJ will make that decision accurately.

Didn't mean to express no confidence. It's just that TB will be a senior and has missed his window due to no fault of his own. He was not developed (coached up) properly during his previous years in high school or at Tech. Now, he will start even with Nesbitt, Booker and Renfree...three very talented football players...in a new scheme.

I doubt TB wld have ben the starting QB next year regardless who the HC was. TB is a great kid though and very hard worker. He'll still get some chances.

I can't see Taylor starting next year. He's going to be a senior who started for one year and had a disappointing year; unless we are ready to win NOW, there is no point in playing him under CPJ even if he is the best option. Better to start fresh with a QB who will be here for at least a couple years as we implement the new system. Otherwise it would seem like one step forward and then two steps back.
