What's everyone's game day/tailgate/pre game plan for Saturday?

For me, I'll cut grass at 4 to get started. Then, it's Irish coffee at 5:35 and then I'll put something on the grill at 6:00, followed by beer after halftime. Then, I plan to watch games until midnight, while hopefully remaining consciousness throughout.

A pretty stiff Bourbon drink to start the day, watch GT kick BC in the balls, then I will root for uncheat to kick the dwags ass!

Pick up my StubHub ticket @ the Grand Hotel,
drink me whiskey clear (courtesy of a handful of Jameson mini's), watch the rejuvenation of our boys, and get me fish & chips on.

I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to a world motocross race at Charlotte Motorspeedway. So I will be leaving Athens at 6 AM and will have it on the radio for the duration of the trip. Sad I have to miss it, but ill watch the replay that night when i get home

Getting up early Saturday and making a day of the return of CFB, which, let's be honest, is basically Christmas in September.

Dragging a TV outside for our game in the morning since it'll be around 70 degrees Saturday morning, while I eat my bacon & eggs cooked on my kamado and drink my breakfast stout. Dragged another TV down to the basement for side-by-side viewing of football games that are on at the same time later that day. Putting a pork butt on the smoker around 9 AM for pulled pork sandwiches for dinner. Cooking up brisket burgers for lunch with mac & cheese. It'll be interesting if I make it past 8 PM.

And you're killing me SEB.

If you crank up a lawn mower anywhere near me at 4am my pregame plan will be to punch you in the mouth, CPJ style.

Ha. öööö the covenants.

Scrambled eggs, sausage, homemade biscuits, black coffee. Getting drunk before noon is not fun for me unless I'm at the game. Getting drunk before noon in front of the TV is a sign of alcoholism.

Myself and several buddies will be at Second Self Brewery at 7 a.m. for a tour and then beer and breakfast and game watching.

"Several buddies and I"

Sorry, but the increasing, incorrect overuse of "myself" in everyday speech and media has surpassed using "loose" instead of "lose" on my idiocracy list.

:bigcry:

I've got a good day planned but yours sounds pretty good, and less work. What time should I be there?

6:15am: eat a small breakfast to get food in my belly
6:30am: remain sober so I can help feed my newborn baby
7:00am: stiff drink
7:30am: continue drinking while watching Tech whoop that ass
11:00am: celebrate a win with a huge brunch and more beverages

Maybe he's talking about a different kind of "grass".
Clearly, that is the proper interpretation. You have to 80k to post on this board and anyone who 80k's has a yard man to cut their grass. Of course, it raises the question of why would someone who 80k's need "grass" in the first place. A leftover habit from their pre-80k days, perhaps.

P.S. An 80k'er who "likes" to cut their own lawn better own a $10k riding mower and not some $300 used piece bought off of Craigslist. We have standards to maintain around here, you know.

Waking up a little groggy around 8am and sipping on whatever's left over from the night before. Shower and walk down the street to Temple Bar area to pregame with all the other Tech fans. Walk to Aviva and watch Tech slay the 2015 demons. Walk back to Temple Bar area celebrate and find a bar that has the rest of the games on. Talk about your once in a lifetime opportunities (no offense to motocross)...

Don't forget your umbrella.

friday night I'll try to catch the Lincoln County Red Devils in their home opener against Grovetown. Head over to the lake house and get some sleep. Up for breakfast and kickoff at 7. Hopefully the wifi hotspot has good service because we don't have cable at the lake. Celebrate victory and head out for opening day of dove season. Boiled peanuts, bbq chicken, and browning shotguns. Thanks to GTAA for getting the game out of the way early so I can watch and still go hunting.

I will NOT be getting up at 4:00 AM to mow my grass. no matter what kinda grass we are talking about, that's crazy talk.

I will be getting up around 6:30 to make eggs, bacon, and toast/biscuits along with some Bloody Mary drinks. Watch GT curb stomp the BC in the far eastern land of Ireland. Then hopefully go some grilling assuming its not pouring buckets due to Hermine.
