Player bashing.

Maybe you could demonstrate by not bashing other posters for a month; but I seriously doubt you could make it a week.

Besides we already have a board where people aren't allowed to criticize the coaches. They call it 'The Hive' I think.
So the board basically to you needs to become a "bash the coach" free for all? We get that you don't like the coach. We hear it over and over every opportunity you get.

I think a sports board where you aren't allowed to point out anything negative isn't good for much. I seldom bash players; but putting the pink shirt on the coaches is a little much. I don't even bash CGC that often, PNope I never liked, and I was a Thacker Backer until after about the 3rd game this season; but since I defended the roster (aka players) ever since the coaching change, posters like you think I am CGC basher. Collins can be fine with good coordinators, I've been pretty consistent in saying that.

Player bashing? Agreed. Criticism is not the same as bashing. And guess what? You get NIL and the money that comes with it, you get maybe a small degree less of the criticism than I give out to Matt Ryan on a weekly basis.

Criticizing a player ≠ bashing a player, throwing a player under the bus, etc.

It's all about tone, being respectful, don't use demeaning language, etc.

And whatever else, don't use the word 'fair'
Fair you mother fairer.

My nephew’s son is a scholarship FB player and my wife taught the two brothers in the transfer portal and, yes, they read these message boards.
I’ve always believed that. But thanks for the confirmation.

Player bashing is the refuge of the weak posters who have nothing else to add.

I hope there is a distinction between player bashing and sharing an opinion that a certain player is struggling or that a certain play turned the game in a very bad direction. If offensive line blocking or kicking or secondary coverage is hurting the team in someone’s opinion I have no problem with them saying that respectfully. If analysis requires us to blame everything on coaches and never on players, partly because we believe our opinions have an impact on recruiting and transfer decisions, then there is not much reason to engage in discussion at all. If poor play, at say RB, makes it acceptable to critique the HC, OC, and RB coach but off limits to suggest we may have talent or performance issues at the position, I doubt we will fool anybody.

Now, I am absolutely against spewing anger at athletes, calling them names, saying they are absolutely awful, etc. But, I think analysis can include opinions about player performance. But, I know that is not my call.
