So far I've read

Hill from OL to DL
Lockhart from A back to DB
Earls from WR to DB
Mckayhan from WR to A back

Any more you know of?

Tongo and Rocker from LB to DE per Coach Johnson on bbuzzoff radio interview.

Go Jackets!

Peters from DE to DT. Peters is a Starting DT going into Spring Ball.

TJ Barnes and JC Lanier in the game at the same time would be 700 LBS of beef in the middle. Could get scary.

IMO, DL is the one place where we have the greatest lack of depth. Barnes is going to play a good bit (as much as he has the endurance to stand IMO), but Lanier will probably also play. If nothing else, those 2 to clog the middle in goal line and short yardage situations gives us an option that we haven't had in quite some time at GT. Kind of like the two DT's Boston College had this year (Raji and ???).

Brace.

Come on, if you're gonna make a point, don't come off looking like a rookie.

:p

These position changes close the door on my suspicion that we'd move to a 3-4 defense this year. All those defensive line moves mean almost definitely that we will run a 4-3 in 2009.

So the staff continually saying we are a 4-3 team didn't do it?

I remember a thread where one guy was adamant that we were moving to a 3-4 (maybe it was you?) Indeed, I never did understand why a team already dangerously thin at LB would adopt 3-4.

Where did you get that Peters is moving to DT?

I hope so because I've been saying for a while that Peters would make a great DT with his ability to add size while still keeping that DE speed and athleticism.

You've apparently missed the whole day's events. Take everything Damarius posted with a grain of salt. He's a kid posting bumps to get the thread on Bbuzzoff off of the first page.

Hahaha... yeah. I've not been around a whole lot lately but I kinda picked up on what was going since i saw his name bumping about 40 old threads :laugher:
