Poll: UGA - Athlon Sports Rankings

As most of you know, Athlon Sports is currently releasing their pre-season football rankings for the 2009-2010 season.

They have currently released their picks from 25 to 15. So far, UGA has not shown up in their rankings.

Poll Question:

Do you think that UGA will be ranked in Athlon's top 14 teams or will they be left off completely?

If so, where will they be ranked?

I'll start:

I think that they will be left off. If they have LSU at No. 17, then there is no way that they will rank UGA higher than the Tigers this season.

Funny, because UGA was picking on our No. 22 ranking on their board. Something like..."look who we are going to be ranked higher than...Tech only at No. 22" Said that we would be moaning about our ranking...which we were...but I digress

U[sic]GA always reloads and has good years, they'll need a couple years of unranked finishes before they get left off. I think they should be right around 14 or 15, not top 10, but I don't think they should be left out of the rankings. But then I also don't think there's any way they should be 7+ spots above us.

No doubt U(sic)GA will get the benefit of the doubt, they are not worthy of a Top 14 ranking, but are not bad enough to be left out of the top 25. Considering they are regularly ranked at least 5 spots higher than they should be, this would not deviate much from tradition.

Athlon is an SEC publication. Of course UG will be overranked.
