Positives from Today

Ha, my wife said, "remember the last fly over? 09 vs Wake I think, they were low enough to see their eye color." It was awesome.

Yeah I forgot to add the flyover to the list. I remember asking @juraitwaluzka how the pilots got to the stadium so fast after flying over BDS and he said they must have ejected and taken an uber.

As usual, the Tailgate. Great turnout and a great time. And hey coit finally got his bottle!

Defense played another good game. They're getting better each day. There's a lot of fire in those guys and if we ever get back to having some semblance of an offense the team is gonna be formidable.

Oliver continues to impress. Not ööööting on Taquon but I think his injury is a big impediment right now. He was healthy last game and it made a difference. The line continues to let both of them down but as I recall we got a couple of injuries there too. If Quon needs to sit out a game I believe Tobias will be able to run the offense no problem. He did light a fire under the team after he came in but it was way too late.

The lady in the burgundy tank top in section 106 row 8, you stole my heart when you said you cant take the red off because then you'd have to take everything off including underwear. I loved it when you were waving that Champion knock off Tech jersey in the air, hitting my face with it and yelling Go Jackets in your thick New York accent. You were the best thing about today so thank you for your company and the great conversation.

uga 16 - 36 LSU. Geaux Tigers. Watch that video of Blankenship getting killed while trying to run the ball in the fake punt play. Watch it again and again until you get your smile back.

And as always,
in victory and in defeat,
Go Jackets and THWG.
I enjoyed my first ST tailgate, wish I had longer to meet everyone. Thanks for inviting me. Flyover was good. Playing uneven music over the band or while our offense is trying to line up? Also, why can't we ask the fans "how 'bout them dawgs?" It's fine, I still yelled the correct response. I'm not faulting defense for the 21 point run. Weather was nice.

I don't get something though. Why did we use up one of Graham's 4 games to have him only run the ball twice? We were down a couple of scores at the time and he is reputed to be the best passer of the bunch. I get that he may have a limited grasp of the offense but why not let him throw a pass or two at least?

our coach is a genius, that's why. IIWII.

Found this on Facebook in a game bitching post (apparently pulled from reddit).

I liked the passion at the end of Q2.

Unfortunately, it didn't amount to much in the second half.

One of the best bets in college ball is picking the team coming off a bye vs the team that has played 5+ games. It doesn’t excuse our epically shitty offense, but it a thing.

Defense looked improved as did Oliver. If he can’t win the starting spot in the next week and a half, he isn’t trying. Ballers just ball. And right now we have a shit ton of watchers.

The bye should help the OL figure out what to do with the LB coming from the motion side, because we only stopped it if they jumped into the neutral zone and our guard jumped.

I don’t see any reason our D shouldn’t break the vt qb in half. Hopefully our O can average 70 yards a completion like last year. I expect everyone to stack the box from hereon out.

Coverage teams looked better. We should fair catch all kickoffs because we are just giving away yards.

Kicker appears to be improving.

ACC coastal looks like a dumpster fire, so an average team should be able to rise to 4-4.

Great improvement over last yr.Lost by 23 ,now only 14.
lets ignore the fact we were 3 pt faves--pathetic

I'm glad we are one game closer to a new head coach. I've been a supporter of CPJ and enjoy his offense when it is not a train wreck but what I've seen the past 4 seasons has convinced me the ship has sailed.
