He has 2 years of eligibility left but that would only be if he graduated or got a transfer waiver. If he has to sit a year, he'll only have 1 year.

Yea.. Jonathan Greenard (a DE from Louisville) just transferred into UF, so I’m wondering if that has anything to do with his decision. Wondering if the staff promised him something that they couldn’t follow through with.

I haven't been able to find any info on what his major is. Where there is a will, there is a way, I say.

Why do we think he'd be good here if he wasn't at Florida?

It's not unheard of for a talented guy to get lost in the shuffle at a factory school. For one, they are recruiting 4 and 5 star guys at his position every year. He also went through a coaching and scheme change. The coaches who came in didn't recruit him and may not have known how to best use him. Of course, it is possible he is simply a bust, but I think he would have enough potential upside to use a scholarship on for two years. Whether our staff is interested enough to pursue him, I dunno.
