Can anyone confirm though that SMU offered 2 million?

I pulled that 2 million figure out of my ass in an earlier post. Don't know whether people are quoting me or not. If Navy's got him at 1.5 though I'd bet 2 is going rate.

Its not obvious but SMU can tap into some bottomless pools of cash when/if needed. That they'll do it for this is something of a surprise.

Speaking of the not obvious (but should be), GT can too.

And before you ask why the hell we're in debt, it's because the stadium expansion/baseball field upgrade was a ****ing hare-Braine'd idea that those same people who can and will raise that sort of money weren't buying into. We'll let that debt hang out there and get funded by the whiners that want a $2M HC but think some Warbucks should pay for it while they hide behind their keyboards.

So, if PJ isn't worth $2M, you know damn well none of the others are. Somebody, ANYBODY, give me a two ****ing million dollar name that can not only raise GT to the next level and win a MNC in Dr. Sid's lifetime, but also understand who we are, what we stand for, and unite the fan base.
