Post your list of HC candidates (AND ONLY THAT)

If DRADS moles read this thread, he will know WM is way down in the pecking order, that would have to concern him if he truly is looking to energize the fan base.

1. HATCHER :fingersx:

if I have to have Muschamp, I'll take:

Muschamp w/ Hatcher as OC and Giff as DC

Rating what seems to have been our list:
1. PJ - lots of success at Navy proves he knows how to win at a place with a unique group of student athletes.
2. Edsall - a good job at UConn
3. Tenuta - have no idea how he would do, but he has been great on our staff
4. Strong - would be a good hire, I think athletes would respond well
5. Muschamp - I don't like the profanity/You Tube thing, but he is a good football coach
6. Hatcher - I don't get the love affair with this guy at all
7. Neuheisel - were we kidding?

In reality, our list looks like we want to hire relatively cheap to win big. I wish we had garnered some big donor promises to go after a list with names like:
Rodriguez, Spurrier, Cowher, Crowton, Chow, Schiano, Grobe, Whisenhunt, Petrino, Jones

Yeah, you guys better thank the Good Lord you did not get Hatcher, he is a good coach no doubt, but PJ is a GREAT coach.

I'm pretty ashamed that I wanted Muschamp at one point.

Don't feel badly. I defended him often because I wanted the fan base to get behind the possible coach. I still think he'll make a great coach one day, but I was happy as a clam with PJ.

can't believe I didn't post in this thread. Good memories, we came out ahead on this one.

I don't know about you guys, but I could never bear to have a Dawg as our head coach. I wouldn't have even listed him anywhere in my top 50.

I wanted CPJ or Hatcher. I thought Hatcher would be able to recruit better since he is young and runs a pass happy offense. I thought CPJ was the best "coach/leader" available. I would have been happy with either. I did think we would have to pass more to be successful with CPJ. I am completely happy with 9 wins and 409 rushing yards though.
