Postgame Thread: GT Wins @ Vippie Sue

Watch this. Thomas went so hard for the game-winning strip he did a 180 with a half twist. Amazing play

It looked like the umpire aided in Pyron's TD by screening off #4 for VT from making a tackle at the 2-3 yard line.
Part of the game, both teams have to dodge them. As far as I know, umpire didn't do anything wrong. #4 was out of position to make the play because he took several steps to cover the crossing route just before Pyron called his own number.

One of our defenders ran into the umpire either against UVA or FSU, can't remember which, so it evens out.

Don’t punt. Especially when you’re as bad at it as we are this year.

This guy got hired for an FCS job at Presbyterian in 2021. He won his first two games against non-NCAA teams and then lost seven straight to NCAA schools to finish the season 2-9. He got fired at the end of the season.

Punting is often good.

Presbyterian did finish third in FCS in total offense and ninth in scoring offense, but last in scoring defense, allowing more than 53 points per game. The Blue Hose punted 13 times in 11 games and converted 29 of 84 fourth downs.

Its is ridiculous that we can't punt without worrying about a block or runback.DOZENS of teams do it every week --and YEAR>
It's amazing we can't directionally kick either. We kick straight to the returner.
