The offense showed improvement:
This was the first time this season we had more total offensive yds than our opponent (379-373).
Mason had over 100 yds rushing (106).
Eight different players caught passes.
The defense was disappointing. The game was over at halftime because we couldn't get a stop. Still lots of work to do there, but we probably won't see much improvement until we get a better DL.
The first half of the season is over, and with the QB situation settled, we might see continued improvement over the second half. I'm not expecting any more wins, but it is an opportunity to see what the coaches can accomplish week to week.
