Female stadium PA announcer for this game? Don't think I've ever seen that before.

"Dawgs"? WTF is up with that on Washington's helmets?

This is the first time I've watched Washington play. Is it just my southern football bias, or would they get rolled by Clemson or Bama?

I mean, I feel like they're pretty much Boise State of yore. So maybe? Or maybe they'd put up a good fight.
 
I feel like those two kids trying to win Dr. Pepper tuition money, especially that Asian kid, have never actually seen a football game before.

That was sad.

I'm about to hit up Kroger so I don't tempt the old gods of Chaos tomorrow with the influx of rednecks in the entire metro area
 
Washington is in the playoff!

We will soon find out if they can hang with Bama, Clemson or Ohio State.
 


That probably would be a pick six if he attempted it against the Alabama defense.

Browning has been known this season for getting away with bad throws against bad secondaries. I think they can hang with the other top teams b/c their defense is solid but I think they're passing game is in for a rude awakening when they play a secondary with a pulse. Hell the first play of the game last night was a go route up the sideline with the guy open and the ball was so severely under thrown that both DBs could have picked it but neither turned around and ran straight through the WR. Horrible throw but got away with a 15 yard flag.
 
What in the hell was that defender doing? Did he have a bet riding on the game?
 
Washington has a nasty assed defense. They are going to need it to have a chance in the playoffs.
 
Washington got served by USC. USC was the best team in the Pac10 by the end of the season. Of course, they got destroyed by Alabama in the opener. Washington is gonna get killed by Alabama. It is gonna be ugly. Washington is going to look like Kentucky against the Tide.
