Johnson made two significant changes in the offseason. He put more emphasis on player leadership and accountability by implementing more team-building programs. He also changed a significant aspect of the strength-and-conditioning program, putting more emphasis on a player’s body fat index than overall weight

Chris gave it a try through the summer and then follow up to start 2016 Camp. unfortunately not enough healing /stability in the knee to go through the rigors of college football w/o significant chance of additional damage.

Tough break for Chris and the team. Griffin was a big man with the kind of mean streak that potentially would have made him an all conference type of lineman. We just have to hope some of the others step up and fill his spot. I can tell you this. From going to fan day yesterday, that Kenny Cooper (55) is already a mountain of a man. If he plays like he looks, watch out.
