Practice Watching

Really not enjoying what paintballer is doing to represent my beloved school in this thread.

Well back to the topic of the post. I was at the practice today and the team looked pretty good. They were not perfect, but not much can be expected at the second practice of the season. Passing is still a work in progress and should be much improved once the season rolls around since they have been focusing on passing drills a good bit. Couldn't see too much of the special teams from the other side of the field. Still expect Tarrant to be the number one return guy. One player that stood out to me from what I could see was preferred walk-on Robbie Godhigh. He looked very good in my opinion, but I will not be surprised if Coach Johnson decides to redshirt him considering the amount of depth he has already. Well that is about all I can say from what I could see considering the players are playing without pads.

Thanks! Any others attend practice today?

Okay, just a general question, how many practices will it take for the guys to shake the rust off and get the machine rolling?

I was a bit disappointed to read that the QBs were 14-38 in pass completions and there was no pass rush. Although I guess they may have had a coach with a whistle by their ear.

I just read this as well.

I hope maybe the Telegraph is just exaggerating how bad it was.

Passing is all about timing, and the team hasn't practiced in a while. It doesn't bother me at all that we were 14-38 in the first practice. If we see the same thing as we get closer to gameday and Nesbitt is getting most of the reps, I would be more concerned.

Is this the thread where we "practice watching?" I don't know about you guys, but I'm 43 years old and my eyeballs have already mastered the art of watching.
