Prayers for the Harvin family

He struggled with consistency at GT, until his senior year. The first three years he was really good with a mix of WTF moments. In the NFL consistency is paramount

Thoughts are with him and his fam. I can't imagine trying to be productive at work during a time like that

I'll give the Pittsburgh fans the benefit of the doubt as they booed him for his performance only and didn't realize his dying dad was there. I am sure the wouldnt do they because they aren't Philadelphia fans.

This will be the only time I'll cover for normally ööööty fans.

I mean, it's not like booing is some extremely abnormal thing. The Steelers fans didn't sneak into the dad's hospital room at night and pull the plug. I'm sure there have been a ton of players throughout sports history who were booed and had been sexually abused as kids and öööö. It is what it is

Look, just because Philly fans would boo him for the sole reason that his dying dad was there doesn't really excuse the Pittsburgh fan behavior. There's no redemption in being the most congenial fan base in Pennsylvania. That's like winning a math contest in the special ed classroom.

I've attended multiple sporting events - college and pro - in both Philly and Pittsburgh.

Those are some hardass people.

But there's no way they would have boo'd Harvin if they knew the circumstances.

Based on the stats that somebody posted I would bet the booing started well before this game. If this was new news that his died was dying, and his first game shanking punts, then I don't think they would've been booing either.

Pretty sure corndog is. I want to say there may be one other too
I can't believe people can't remember corndog. I thought everyone knew he was a Pittsburgher through and through and he'll damn tell yinz about it, too.
