4 - 8.

Wins will be Vandy, Duke, Clem, and UNC.

Losses: BYU, AUB, WF, MD, UVA, NCST, FSU, and UGA.

Bowl streak will end and Gailey will be given a ringing endorsement by our AD.

Not pretty, isn't it?

Duke game is on the road too, and Roof will be smelling the blood...

I will wait until I see if there are any coaching changes on the staff before I make any predictions.

If there are no major coaching changes on the staff, next season will be a disaster.

Coaching changes? I hope so. We have all had enough stress this year with what we have seen, at least with some assistant changes maybe we can have a couple of positive posts here and there!

Hope the higher ups at Tech with $$$$ make him make some moves!! Let's develop our QBs and Bilbo needs a QB coach. He will succeed with his talent but needs that good coaching!

Any other token gestures will be simply whistling past the graveyard.

Beeware...
As much as I agree with you, I don't think they will make this change after 1 season. I would like to see us do that now but don't see that happening.

I do know that if some of those assistants aren't changed, I have definite concerns about who's running the Athletic Dept.!

South Ga you are very optimistic. Vandy got better by the end of the year and will have us at home. Clemson is poor like us but will beat us because we always give things to them to help them. Duke will beat us because by that time the roof will have caved in.

Possibly a win over UNC. We will win one, somewhere...that's about as optimistic as I can be.

Right now I cannot see a sure win but think we will be competitive with Duke and Vandy...those are on the road. UNC will be better but being at home we will have a chance. I cannot see any other wins next season. I say 3-9 looks pretty reasonable.

Beeware... can you bring ANYTHNG else to the party besides the same old stale chips you have been bringing since February...

If you are so unhappy with Gailey, grab your car keys and go down and have a talk with him... (but I have a feeling you have a picture of Mark Richt over your bed beside the one of Jerry Garcia and the velvet Elvis) ..

Its too early to tell about next year... I am going to wait till we finish Spring... but, based on this past year.. Maryland, NC State, and Virginia are clearly on the rise.. FSU will still be tough next year... I look for us to be picked to finish 6th in the ACC.

Yeah Beeware, BOB is a real genius. I believe he came out and said very positively that the light had finally come on for AJ Suggs. Well I have to ask you if you saw any new light from our starting QB yesterday? Or maybe you think Gailey was holding a gun to his head and making him praise the kid? Fridge is long gone and his coattails should be as well.

8-4 based on Jr./SR. laden team and usual large improvement from 1st to 2nd year of coaching change. THWG

i will save this post for entertainment purposes only

with fans like these ..

why bother to play the games next year? why bother to recruit? phhhhoooooooey!

After 28 years of following the Jackets, optimism has always been in the blood. After the age of 45 realism and maturity sets in. Reality is as a true fan no matter what ... this coach does not fill our bill. It takes a lot of things to coach Div. 1 football and I'm afraid we missed the boat when this coach was hired!

I'll renew my season tix as always but my realism takes the place of any positive optimism in how this coach and his staff will do!

MsTech

I agree completely.
We can discuss all the specifics all day long, but over and beyond that, I have a real deep intangible feeling that things are going south in a hurry. Probably based on seeing some players quitting on plays, lack of dicipline, no chemistry, lack of motivation, no solid execution etc...But beyond that, it just seems that something is going on - I wish I could put my finger on it....Its the same feeling I had about a decade ago.

I HOPE I am wrong - but, like you, I fear its simple realism

I agree with with you GR. I feel the program may be heading south as you say. Unlike some on this board I'm willing to give CG another year. If no improvement not just the record but the desire to play, discipline(sp) and general all around preperation like under Dodd and a few others then it's time to move on and right the ship.

Intensely Moderate

I cannot imagine how one could be satisfied with our performance this year. This season has taught us to expect competence and tolerate abject failure. I have been both ecstatic at the NC State game and depressed at 4 other games. There were 2 we would not have won in any case.

Question is, where do we look for consistency? We are deep, or we would have folded after Hollings went down. We are awful, or we would have beaten Wake Forest and F$U. Forget UGA this year, they were untouchable.

Will we do some wishful thinking and hope for better things with the same crowd next year? Or will we say blithely that "anything is better than what we have now?"

To me, the clearest thing is that our miseries have started with a mostly inaccurate QB. Then the character lets doubt creep in. This is a clear leadership issue.

Let's keep our eyes open and our whiskey clear, and above all, THWG!

PS. Hoops looks equally schizophrenic. Yikes!
