Probably the least meaningful loss in years, if you think about it

ND has to play Clemson next week, who will be looking to make a statement after coming out flat this past week. If Clemson beats ND and we beat Clemson twice (ACCCG), then losing on the road to #8 and winning the 3-way round-robin-tie makes this the most forgivable loss in history, and we can still make the CFP.

Crossing my fingers that Clemson boat races ND this weekend. Bummed we don't get ND at home next year to return the favor.

The ND game only becomes meaningful if it comes down to a one-loss, ACC champion GT and a one-loss or two-loss ND vying for a playoff spot (assuming undefeated or one-loss P5 champions across the board).

That said, I didn't see anything on Saturday that would indicate we're capable of running the table. Just beat the next team up and things will take care of themselves.
We probably are not capable of running the table, but I don't see any team not named Ohio State being capable of doing that either. TCU? Baylor? Georgia? Notre Dame? UCLA? Miami? LSU? Mississippi?
I'll take 9-3 and a nice bowl game, maybe even an ACCCG appearance. But there's still much more than that POSSIBLE.

ND only really has to get past Clemson and USC, and USC ain't all that, as evidenced this past weekend. The rest of ND's schedule is cake.

@Stanford could be interesting at the end of the year.

I almost said something about @Temple but I stopped myself, lol.
