I looked back and didnt see anything.. it must have been attached to a thread without his name on it
 
Wow! The A-back position gets even more crowded. Too bad we don't have the same problem with the QB position.
 
honestly, next year, we will have 5 Scholarship QB's that have already used their redshirt. That is an awesome "problem" to have!

I think he was pointing out that Josh didn't use a redshirt and Sims is not very likely to redshirt now, whereas Luallen is.
 
well is Chris going to play this year or does he have to sit out?

i don't know if he said he was coming here for a "different major"
(ex. Taylor Bennett)

It shows he is smart, but hopefully that year he spent at that Alabama prep school for slow learners may be of some additional benefit.
 
I don't get the whole Aback thing. He will sit out due to transfer rules and use his redshirt. He won't spend one second on any unit other than scout team offense which has no Abacks, or Bbacks for that matter. What gives?

Head coaches make long term plans and PJ is counting on CJ being an A back right now. He will get his chance next spring, until then he'll practice as whatever they need on the scout team.
 
I think PJ would love to have some big, fast former WR's in his A-back corp. Imagine the options we have with a couple of CJ's at A-back. The issue is if they want to block most of the time, but catch a 60 yard TD pass every game.

I mean, can you imagine Bebe, Hill and CJ on the field at the same time with Dwyer (or Allen), Jones and Nesbitt?

Everyone has to sit out when you transfer from an FBS school to another FBS school.

The only exception was having already graduated and the post-graduate degree you want is somewhere else...as was the case with Bennett.

Ok thats sort of what i thought was for Bennett and i wasn't sure the situation With CJ besides Nick "Satan"
 
Chris is one of the 'Sons of the Reign" from the Nostradamus preseason prediction.
 
Hopefully he runs the ball better than Greg Smith. Not blasting him but he just wasn't a RB. Percy Harvin is the prototype I believe. We split a AB wide a good bit last year to give a 3 WR look. I picture CPJ using Chris like that alot.
