Props to the Band!!

Just wanted to post a message on here to anyone in the band. I was in the middle of a bunch of FSU fans and they kept complaining about how loud our band was throughout the game. Saying it seemed even louder than theirs. They were completely impressed. Just to let everyone know our band brought the A-Game Saturday night!

There were a couple time where our players were out on the field dancing to our band. You could tell they it gave them a little piece of home.

I was surprised at how crappy our band's seats were. It's like they stuck our band up in the upper-deck in the corner, which is completely disrespectful if you ask me. I thought it was common place to get give lower level to the opposing band.

Band was awesome. I liked them where they were for selfish reasons...made me feel at home. Plus it gave them the opportunity to outshine FSU. The Bud song was awesome...saw a BUNCH of people turn to look at us when every Tech fan started yelling it.

I think for MSU they only sent the pep band. Even with the limited numbers, the GT Band seemed to have more spirit than their MSU counterparts. I think the MSU band took the whole 3rd quarter off. You could hear the GT Band clearly on TV during the FSU game.

i am not doubting our band and think they do a wonderful job, but espn and other tv networks mic up both band sections and even the visitor section of a stadium so they can get some sound from them when a team is doing good

The band was playing over top of FSU all night, louder and prouder no question... it wasnt a TV trick

F$U put the band in the nosebleed section, and the band played well. I don't know about drowning out the home band, but ours represented.

Our band is as good as they come. They could be heard much better on TV than FSU's. They add a lot to the game.

Nothing gets me fired up for a crucial 3rd down more than Bb Tuning from the Tech Band. Someone seriously needs to get this up on YouTube (complete, of course, with the PA announcer saying "it's third down............and 10").
