Wow, I think PS has a better team yet FSU's speed advantage is huge and is the difference in the first half. ACC in general is building into a speed conference.

The thing that stood out for me in this game is how FSU shut down the screen pass and east and west run, living up to their trademark "sideline to sideline" speedy defensive style of play.

Some real hits delivered in that game by both teams. I'd hate to be either kicker today, but at least the kid from PSU made his last one.

You're right, he salvaged his night, and the FSU kicker blew his. I'll bet PSU was surprised at how tough FSU was, though. I live in PA, and lots of folks up here thought that playing the 22nd-ranked team in the country was a slap in the face.
