Putting the Peach back in the Peach Bowl!

Guys this is just a marketing ploy for the seasonal peach milkshake that just happens to have returned recently. Don't be surprised to see the real name be close to Chik-Fil-A Peach Milkshake Bowl.

Isn't this old news?

No. They were going to add a name other than the corporate sponsor regardless, since it was pretty much demanded of them if they wanted to be part of the college football playoff, but it wasn't a foregone conclusion that it would return to Peach.

Good. Now when I call it the Peach Bowl I won't have some asshat in my ear going "ITS CALLED THE CHIK FIL A BOWL"

It is easy to tell who hasn't bothered to read the article.

I cannot imagine there were any other options.

Apparently there were.

“At the end of the day, the preponderance of our board was supportive when this name was listed against any other name that was put on the board,” Stokan said.

Remember, this is the same group that elected to remove Peach from the name in the first place.

They sent out a marketing survey to their 'season ticket holders' right afterward asking about their thoughts. The C-f-A folks had some other stupid names that had nothing to do with Peach or Atlanta. The results smacked them pretty hard. That's when they started thinking Peach was a good idea again.

The other thing that was just announced is that they're 'being forced' to relocate their STH's. We always had tickets on the sidelines between the twenties. Now, it's a quadrant layout. My ten tickets got moved from a single row midway up the lower level at the 40 yard line to two back-to-back rows half way up the lower level in the corner of the endzone...with a price increase to $210 per ticket.:furious:
