Probably because VPI would have had everybody deep. But yeah I'd give it a shot. With 5 seconds left why didn't they line up and throw a hail Mary?

It’s not that bad. It’s not perfect.I just got home. Before turning on the game or checking the score, I ST’ed first to get a feel for how the game is going. By the sound of things, we’re uhm, not winning.
Bulls***Key always plays conservative and scared unless we are 30 points behind. He is gutless.
All season! Not just two games. Our offense is nothing like it was last season, even when King has played.
FSU sux.I do not understand what happened to our OL. Should be the best unit on the team outside of WR maybe. Absolutely dominated FSU all game long, which, issues aside, is the most talented front 7 they will face until UGA. Hasn't looked the same since.
What is your evaluation of the OL play?I’m with ya..lol
Better double check the record.Well they definitely are not going to fire the OC because the offense doesn't look like it did last season when the team is 5-2 and has been tearing it up on the ground.

I really thought Pyron would've benefited from the backup experience, but he seems to have more of a "deer in the headlights" approach than he did as a true freshman. He's playing timid both running and passing. Let it loose, Zach, because we're going to lose anyways if you don't.
I would like to start beating teams from the Big East first. It’s 14-6 against a VT team that has been playing very well overall. Losing to Vandy the way they did along with Miami, both could have easily been W’s. VT was predicted #6 in the ACC preseason as a dark horse ACC championship team.
Some of you need to stop with the “fire <fill in the blank here>” nonsense. GT is and has always been a 6-6, maybe 7-5 team this year. There are holes that need to be filled along the DL, etc on D and honestly the WR room isn’t as good as most people thought GT would be going into the season.
Injuries have compounded the problem on O, but even with King, GT wasn’t beating ND last week.
Tearing it up on the ground? Yes, against sorry FSU, UNC, and VMI. Bravo.Well they definitely are not going to fire the OC because the offense doesn't look like it did last season when the team is 5-2 and has been tearing it up on the ground.
If we continue playing like this we’re not making a bowl. It’s 14-6 against a VT team that has been playing very well overall. Losing to Vandy the way they did along with Miami, both could have easily been W’s. VT was predicted #6 in the ACC preseason as a dark horse ACC championship team.

I said we wouldn't fire Buster because of how we looked in two games with an injured starting QB. He said it's not about these two games but how the offense looked when King was in.
