QB Coley White a GT possibility?

Who is he? He wasn't evaluated at all on either site. Can you tell us about him? He must bring something good to the table to be ahead of Coley White and others on our board.

first team all state...ahead of Coley White. does that say anything? We will know more about him soon.

Our three main QB targets (from what I know...there could be others) are Matt Roark, Peter Rose, and Tevin Washington. I am not positive, but believe only Roark and Rose have offers right now. We will take at least one, maybe two, more in addition to Jaybo Shaw.

Tevin Washington
Wetumpka, AL
Record of 10-2
1st Team All-State in Alabama for his classification
Ran for 1,088 yds and 14 td's
Passed for 2,097 yds. and 18 td's

Peter Rose
Amherst, VA
Record of 15-0 (won state championship)
Offensive Player of the Year in Virginia for his classification
Passing- 49 of 90 for 1,127 yds./14 td's/5 int's
Rushing- 170 carries for 1,751 yds. and 28 td's. (10.1 ypc)

Why is CPJ wasting valuable recruiting time on these passing quarterbacks? Everybody knows his system is run, run, run. :laugher:

I guess that's some kind of joke yjack, but I would like to add: In PJ we trust!

That's the purpose of :laugher:. :fingersx:

Looking at the potential QB targets it was obvious that they've got pretty decent passing stats. But there's been so much recruiting doom and gloom surrounding CPJ's trip-option offense that I had to make a comment.

Obviously, it's impossible to predict who will be the best QB once we get them to the Flats and playing big boy football, but where do all of these guys fall as far as our priorities/position on our QB board - including Jaybo? Would Jaybo be considered ahead of these guys as far as being our number 1 QB recruit once PJ entered the picture?

Would our QB targets in order of priority look something like this, excluding Daniels and others who appear to be off our board for whatever reason (academics)?
1. Pryor
2. Jaybo Shaw
3a. Roark
3b. Rose
4. Washington

Is there a different order, or no order at all, just trying to get capable options (pun intended) into the ranks?

1. Jaybo (GT commit)
2a. Roark
2b. Rose (VT commit)
3. Washington

we are out of it with Pryor. No go on BJ. Daniels. There will be some others that pop up. I hear that we will want to take 6-8 "QB/ATH" type guys next year. And GA is loaded with them.
