Does anyone know what the season ticket holder count is for BDS (both as a gross count and percentage of season ticket seats available)?

I think it would really neat to plot the # of season ticket holders over time to see how it has fluctuated over the years. I am interested to see if the # of season ticket holders will increase from last year to this year following the good performance our team has had in their first year under CPJ.

Those are the numbers for last season. You can't buy season tickets for the upcoming season yet, which is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot...we beat Georgia, we're going to the Peach Bowl, interest in the program is at its highest point in close to a decade, and we won't sell people season tickets. No, you have to wait not only a couple months for your interest to fade and the desire to buy not be fresh in your mind, but you also have to wait to see us get thrashed in the bowl game.

I guess GT is just looking out for our fans. They don't want anyone to make the mistake of buying season tickets when they are feeling great about the team and acting on emotions. Gotta keep those upper north seats free for opposing fans, after all.

This year's sales will be up just based on the schedule. Depending on pre-season rankings and early-season performance, we could sell out most of our games this year.

OK, I'll start.

Our group has 6 in the $100 seat tax section (206)

I had 2 in 2007 - which I have had for a long time. I upped the total to 4 this past season and want to go to 6 this year.

Funny thing is, I had to BADGER the ticket office into giving me the extra two seats next to me - which were held by UGAg fans in 2007. I really wanted six this past season, but was given only the extra two. Well, one of the seats next to me all season ended up on sale as an individual ticket for each game - I would have bought it outright if the ticket office had some competent folks working there.

Also, I know for a fact that some seats opened up that were not offered to those with requests in to move. A buddy of mine (first time buying season tickets) actually got 2 seats in a little lower location (7 rows ahead of me) than mine and had two empties next to him all season. Not to be too much of a whiner about it, but I put in a request to move lower. I am a long time season ticket holder, I should have gotten those four seats.

Our ticket office does not help us fill the seats. I do not look forward into trying to get 6 seats, but I'll give it a shot.
