On Ramblinwreck.com ... I bought section 213 ROW 2 (4 tix) for $120 total.

How do I know if this is UPPER UPPER North endzone or the slightly lower section 213?

See map: why do they have 2 entirely different sections with the same darn numbers?

well, you have to see if you bought UPPER 213 or LOWER 213. that should be indicated somewhere.

I printed out my tickets at the office. It just says Section 213....if GTYKYLE is right then its the UPPER section.

2nd row ain't too bad... Might be a good view even if I am in the UPPER section 213.

oh, and FTR...Is buying tickets to 3 games a year off ramblinwreck.com acceptable?

Is my fanhood in question, here, since I'm not a season ticket holder?

FYI...I do buy a lot of hotdogs, waters, and cokes at the games...A LOT.

:laugher:

I believe all the 200 sections are upper deck. The small 213 you see is on upper deck but below the section entrances.

Everything 200 is upper deck. Check out the picture below, then compare it to the chart above, and everything will make sense.

Looks like 213 is on that overhang above the student section. Not bad!

here is the view from 213 "Lower"

This is the view of the field while seated in
Section 213 Lower

and this is from 213 Upper:

so, as everyone seems to be saying, the "lower" part is just the overhang, but essentially there are two "front" rows one in each of "upper" and "lower"

Soo...

beej67,
apparently in the same boat

I'm in that boat as well. I have to buy tix to the games I know I can make it to and I bought Duke tix for section 213 row 4.

So BuzzCzar, are you saying that the overhang has its own numbered rows and then they start over on the section above or do they just start at row one on the overhang and go all the way up?

Thanks for the help!

Thats a really nice view either way. I'd be happy on either one.

From experience, it gets rather warm up there. I once tried to get my drunken self into the upper deck there at a noon game. I wanted to see the view from the section that impeded my walk to class every morning whilst under construction. I half passed out and awoke smelling like broiled snapper with capers in a nice wine reduction. I then made my way over to the only place I will ever watch a game from, the South end Student section. That takes a while, fyi.

i honestly dont know the answer to that, i had assumed that the tickets would say Upper or Lower 213 and then that would make it clear (and arguably the rows would have started over); in absence of any Upper of Lower qualifier i would guess that it is one continuous numbering from the bottom to top, but like i said it is a guess. i had seats in the overhang area for one season. they were ok, but i was frequently surrounded by opponents. at that time, i think they said Lower on the ticket, and a row number... but i could be having bad flash backs it was about 4 years ago since i sat there. now i spring for the fees to get into the 'prime' section -- right in front of the dancing Gold ladies....

Hahaha, nice! Thanks man... I guess I'll figure it out when I get there.

wesley, you bought season seats and you don't know where your seats are? :ugh:

Wow! Are you sure they're at BDS? Did the guy have a Jersey accent?

FWIW, the first 8 rows are below the walkway. The section above the walkway starts at row 9 or so. I'm on row 11, and it's the third row up from the walkway.

I agree with you except I think maybe it's the first 5 rows are the lower and the upper starts with six... what's tricky is the little 2 person bench row in between the lower and the upper... but i am pretty sure that 213 lower starts at 1 and 213 upper is in sequence so it does not start over in numbering...

Good Lord...I'll just show up and see what happens.

One more question: Is 213 the smoking section?

That is correct, and I went up there 2 Saturdays ago to see my seats. The rows do NOT start over, there are maybe 5 rows (you may be correct here) below the walkway, a place for handicap folks, a wall and then it commences with row 8 or so. All I know is Im on row 11 and I'm only 3-4 rows up from the walkway.

I asked this before I bought the tickets. :p

***EDIT: Just looked on Google Earth and there are 5 rows below the walkway, a handicap row at the level of the walkway (row6), a walk-way (row7?) a half-row where the steps up begin (row 8), and I'm 3 rows up from that... row 11.
