Georgia kicks baseball player off team after alleged racial slurs


On Wednesday, Georgia announced that first baseman Adam Sasser has been dismissed from the baseball team after he was being investigated for allegedly making slurs during the football game on Saturday in Athens.

When I went to Philly a few years back, I paid for a best available seat for a Flyers game and sat 7 rows behind the goal for a game against Montreal. PK Subban played for the Habs at the time.

Every time he touched the puck the people around me were either chanting the N word or other derogatory stuff. I was completely floored and could not believe what was happening around me.

i smh when southerners got portrayed as bigoted - when there is as much if not more up north. ööööing hypocrites. and i say that as someone born and raised in the deep south and whose parents grew up in the tenements in a northeastern city.

Uh, protesters would not fare well against most UGA tailgaters. Especially this year, they are fired up. At least half of their fanbase is complete redneck, be it Homerville, WR, Acworth, rich 'necks of Glynn, Mountains, etc.
