Radio show

Yeah, the constant cell phone noises during the in-studio shows are totally JV. You can also practically hear CPJ running out the door and peeling off in his car, a la Homer Simpson, as soon as Demetra starts wrapping up.

Obviously, he doesn’t enjoy doing the show, but it seems like it could be better for everyone involved if they could find a format that was marginally interesting and informative that CPJ was willing to play along with. The old shows with Wes and Brandon seemed a little more enjoyable.

Radio show has turned to crap anyway. Demetra just doesn't have the chemistry with CPJ that Brandon Gauden had. The later was also much more like-able.

Content isn't much better: 20 minutes of commercials followed by "Player x had a number of rushing yards Saturday. What makes him a good player?" "Player y for the other team has 4 sacks on the year. What allows him to do that?"

I don't mind CPJ dismissing and ridiculing dumb questions but he dismisses and ridicules good/legit questions, too. He gets paid a lot of money to do that show.

"I'm aware that we have fumbled a lot. Its frustrating for the coaching staff and its frustrating for the players. I assure you we practice ball security every practice and will continue to do so and will look for new ways to practice it."

It's a simple answer. I know everybody wants to get upset if a coach blames the players or "throws them under the bus" but fumbling the ball is such a simple basic fundamental of football that it is one of those things that I feel very comfortable blaming it on the individual players who are doing the fumbling. There is no "putting them in a position to succeed" when it comes to ball security except to bench them so they can never touch the ball.

There are also times where the defensive players make a great play on the ball at the perfect time and knock it loose. When a 300 pound d lineman drives into your sternum at the same time a 240 pound linebacker throws a haymaker into your armpit, all while trying to fight for every inch to make a first down... its kind of hard to put a whole lot of blame on the ball carrier in those situations.

Our coaches need to go Tim McGraw on the players and ducktape the ball to the players' hands. Maybe then they'll finally hold onto the ball
