Random stadium gripes

Had they actually looked pink, it would have been more obvious as to the cause. In my humble opinion, those were not pink. If anything, they were a bright raspberry red. Seriously, when I saw them coming out of the tunnel, I immediately asked my son why the cheerleaders had red pom poms. He had to explain to me that they're "supposed to be pink." They weren't.
 
It’s gotta be hard for the hype man. I don’t really blame him. He wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb if we were in a good mental state. Now it’s just annoying and I wanna punch him everytime he says something while we’re playing like öööö. 29K miserable fans, a öööö football team and one guy doing the airplane in the end zone going weeee. It’s actually ööööing hilarious.
 
In regards to the environment of the stadium during a game, we can do one of two things-
Either go back to just old school college football, the marching band is the hype machine. No jumbotron, no led light production, no canned music.
Or, hire someone from WWE to come in and produce a full on experience, that is in sync and complementary with the game and the band. Which would include some sort of communication between the production booth and the band so they work together, not like they're battling for space.
We clearly are trying to move from the former to the latter with no real idea of how to do it correctly.

There should not be a hype man at a football game. I can tolerate it at the basketball games because I know it's a "thing" in basketball culture. It's not a thing in football culture. They need to 86 him.
