Ranking the best Power Five jobs available

Its certain that Wisconsin and Nebraska have more attractive football hc jobs than ours.
Arizona State may be an easier job in terms of finances, acedemics, and level of competition, but its not a better job than ours.
So far, out of the current vacancies, we are only school that would consider Coach Prime, and Prime consider the school.
Nebraska is devolving as a football program.

The question about loading up with 4* and 5* high profile recruits is eligibility.

I would of had Nebraska last or not even on the list. That school is a dumpster fire. The inmates are running the jail, at that place. I would of listed us 3rd.

I bet Deion could recruit for us like hell, but we still have the issues of getting them qualified and retaining them academically. He could easily get discouraged and turn sour on us. Worth the risk? I don't know.

Guy hasn't even had an interview and you are already speculating on what might cause him to leave if he was offered and took the job. Geez.

Why not just cheat and make up grades for the NFL studs who won’t graduate?

Well, Madison and what ever corn hole öööö town Nebraska sits, would be safer.

Arizona schools seem like a coaching black hole.
It’s hard to commit to Arizona as a long term place to settle so lots of people leave and you have constant churn of people whose roots are elsewhere. The support is lackluster. That’s changing SOMEWHAT but by and large good jobs and an actual summer are elsewhere.

I think ACC (with Clemson every year) plus UGA trumps PAC XII football. In fact I’d say it’s better than those Big Ten West schools as well.

If Cabrera wants to improve athletics, add a Digital Marketing program to the college of business. Then let Deion market that you can major in TikTok at Tech (it’s also consistent with Tech’s mission and an in demand skill).

I’d move us ahead of Az St, but otherwise probably right. Is that even a P5 job anymore?
ASU even under Herm Edwards never had a losing season. 7-6, 8-5, 2-2, 8-5. Arizona produces some high level talent (not by numbers) that continues to go elsewhere. If ASU can win a few battles they are in good shape. They will continue to recruit Texas and California.

With USC & UCLA going to the B1G along with an expanded CFP, this is a much easier job over GT in the coming years. So it’s ranked accordingly in the article.

Auburn will move to #1 on the list as soon as they fire their HC.

And Auburn shouldn't need Deion to being in 4 & 5 * talent.
This......but dealing with their boosters...eliminates AU from being the best.
