Out of 15 scholarships awarded for 2002 FB recruiting class, 5 are gone. That is 33% and some of them have 4 years to go! 4 of the 5 were on two deep. 3 of the 5 were from TX and MS, where we supposedly recruited because of the academic problems in GA!
However, my understanding is the academic casualty rate for the entire student body is now 32%.
Both of these rates are utterly disgusting!
Even worse when you consider the grades and SAT scores required of GT admissions.
There is a definite problem on the hill, and I understand the failure rate has decreased some of the scholastic ratings awarded to schools, ie. top 25 engineering, business,..... schools.
Someone must be addressing this and needs to give us an update.
