I would think runner-up in the ACCCG would net us something better ....
 
The loser of the ACC-C game is guaranteed to fall no further then the Sun Bowl this year.

Other options would be Atlanta (Chick-Fil-A) or Orlando (Champs).

Obviously the internet is getting in the way here. The defense played fine; I never said they didn't. I'm just trying to see through the gold dust. Wake is a beat up, hurting football team right now. If we were a good team, we'd handle them easily. They are using a 4th string quarterback. I love the Jackets but when predicting our bowl position, one tries to see through the gold dust and see where we really stand right now.

Big picture. We knew they couldn't throw the ball and we still couldn't stop the run.

If you know a team is 1-dimentional and you still can't stop that dimention - that spells trouble. I don't recall anyone saying the QB beat GT (which is wrong on a couple of levels) - it's just the latest in lengthening list of red flags about our defense.

"The order of bowl selection will be: the FedEx Orange Bowl or BCS followed by the Chick-fil-A Bowl, the Champs Sports Bowl, the Brut Sun Bowl, the Meineke Car Care Bowl, the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, the Advocare 100 Independence Bowl and the Eagle Bank Bowl."

We will have to be at least 8-4 (5-3) to get into the Music City or better.

5 or 6 losses puts us against Navy in DC.
 
Right now, I'd just be happy to get a bowl win - regardless of which bowl it is.

I think you are reading responses 180 degrees out of tilt.
 
Until we are out of it, I just want us to find a way to Charlotte in December, worry about bowls later. Get to Charlotte!

I would be happy with just about every one of those bowls(preferably better than the independence). Almost all of them are within driving distance so i wouldnt have to pony up the cash for plane ticket

Tha'd definitely be the best bowl. Don't know where it is in the SEC pecking list, but UF, Auburn, Arkansas, USuCk, or LSU would be great. Even though we seem to be snakebit against LSU.
 
We are not out of going to Charlotte. It's easy really. Win out. But we can lose to MTSU. But beat Clem, VT, Duke, and Miami and we are golden.

Not too hard.
