BARNES IS in & they gave BIG KUDOS to Coach Kelly for getting him!

Taller than MJ and he's at 335 lbs!!! The coaches want him at 315 lbs coming in!

BARNES is in ....EVERYONE IS Academically eligable fyi or we couldn't have offerred them...

he better call Jared!! i doubt they want him to lose 120 lbs, that would be like getting cancer or something, i guess you meant 315

Why would you want an upcoming defensive tackle to lose too much weight? I would like to see him at tackle.
 
Barnes weight comment was a typo on comment about the 215 lbs...should've been 315lbs...guess they want him to lose some of the "bad weight" ( assuming that is the case) & then they'll replace it w/ muscle during a RS year....my prediction....


They are eluding to the fact that there might be one more....so perhaps Butler is a real possibility
 
If that's the case then...I don't know who it would be or if that announcement was made prior to Butler's committ to Duke....Anyone know who they could be waiting on (hiveredtech??, dem???)
Or are we done?
 
looks like we are done at 20 according to the announcement they just made..... All in All a good class of recruits... looking forward to the Spring Game.

Great class for Paul's first. Disappointing about Butler, I know the coaches would of liked to grab him and after last night they thought he would be a jacket.
 
I'm disappointed about Butler too, but we have to remember Duke didn't steal him from us. We stole him from Duke, then lost him back to Duke at the end.

Word I got at the AA today was Butler's coach pushed him back to Duke because of coaches relationship with butler. Other than that the coaches all seemed pretty pleased.

I will say one thing when spring practice hits these kids aren't going to know what hit them. That's from a very reliable source.

CPJ is a stand up guy as well as the assistants that I met. A lot of buzz going on down there and it's very exciting.

Maybe he wanted to go somewhere where there was no pressure to succeed.

Hey fridge- when I was listening on the live feed online...when they were talking about big guys like Barnes & MJ...I thought I heard one of the coaches on the mic talk about you a.k. fridgemover as being amongst the "big guys". I was thinking I know (well chat w/ that guy)...thought I heard them...
Was just wondering if anyone else caught the reference to you from the coach on the microphone...:bowdown:

I was back in the coaches office talking to some of the coaches and Butch. I didn't hear it. I talked to C. Sewak for a while as well, he is excited.
