Sims - Good frame size and accustomed to blocking from the WR position in an option offense. Highlights didn't show him blocking, but you can bet your behind Paul Johnson looked at film of him blocking. He is going to put some bone crushing blocks on some LBs and safeties.
I would assume the staff also looked at Mckayan's (sorry if misspelled) blocking ability as a WR. Again a WR from a principally run-oriented system should know what it takes to get 'er done blocking.
Seems like our staff is more likely to find these WRs who played in running offenses because we are looking at QBs and other personel in those offenses that fit CPJ's system. Then the HS coaches say "hey, you better look at this kid", or he jumps off the film.
One other note: Uzzi is so quick off the ball it looks like he has a different snap count from everyone else. This is EXACTLY what Coach Sewak is looking for--OL that can "win the first 18 inches".
