Recruiting

NC's university system let UNC have fake classes. It would only be fair to offer it to duke as well.

Duke's private. Does that mean they aren't controlled by the NC Board of Regents, or whatever they're called there?

My question is when do our bandwagon fans start to flip? Or is that already happening?

Not so much on this website, but there's a fallacy on others that blindly supporting GT makes you a fan and saying anything negative makes you a bandwagon fan.

A bandwagon fan is someone who supports GT when they're winning then switches to another team (or no team) when GT isn't winning.

Complaining or generally being negative doesn't make you a bandwagon fan, it makes you a concerned fan.

When do our recruits start to flip, realizing that this offense doesn't work against P5 schools?

This offense has been in the Orange Bowl 25% of the time CPJ has coached here. Once with Gailey's recruits, once with his own.

This offense has been in 3 ACCCG. Only VT has won more coastals.

This offense has won as many bowls as the previous pro-style offense.

Now, this year with freshman skill players, we look horrible. Our star qb is going through a sophomore swoon. Our OL is getting worked over on the inside, but does look to being improved lately. No one respects our outside run. No one respects our passing game. All of the above will get fixed, but it is going to take a lot of luck to make a bowl.

We can tell recruits there are plenty of opportunities to get on the field.

GT recruits only other option is Army, Navy or FCS teams. We wont lose our 1-2 stars

Razors didn't work again, I see.

Why don't we just do these recruits a favor and fold the program? That way they can go to an academy or a winning FCS school.

So many of our problems would go away if we fired Sewak and hired a decent OL coach who could teach kids to drive block rather than roll around on the ground.

Edit: The reason I say this is that we've got some good OL commits so far, and it'd be a shame to waste their talent.

In some cases, it makes you a whiner. Especially when we removed all doubt last year that this offense works against any school.

Unless your point is that our team is exactly as good as the team we sent to the Orange Bowl and suddenly, our offense stopped working.

BS to your BS

Their admission standards aren't much different than ours. The next argument is that they can hide kids in useless majors is correct, but if we're recruiting the same kid and can't explain the benefit of our degree programs, we are retarded recruiters. The same goes with Notre Dame or Stanford. We will give you a usefull education. Very few football players make the NFL, much less stick for any appreciable time and the kids we're recruiting should be able to understand that. At the same time, we do put guys into the NFL, I'm watching Shaq Mason, Thomas, etc.

this is the unit that I most disappointed in. I can understand younger WR's and a-backs not blocking well, but the o-line shouldn't be this bad.

apparently, shaq mason blocked everyone by himself last year.

And that's the leap in logic you have to make for this to make sense.
