Ok...so the Covid year isn't our Natty year. What CGC has done in barely over a year is nothing short of amazing. He is turning the 404 old gold and navy! Ppl drive by GT and think "I could root for them" now instead of "I could bully them!"

Guys....we aren't back....yet, but CGC will take us back to the glory days of Boss Ross!

I completely agree. And some people on this board are being way too hard on Sims. Sims unequivocally has the best arm in at least 25 years. And he has more athleticism than anyone since Justin Thomas. He’s going to be really good.

I suppose that logic could apply to the Citadel loss last year as well as the UGA loss too since 5hey were not conference games.
The team fell apart at the end of the game last Saturday. I await to see what they do to what appears a weaker team this Saturday.

No. The team fell apart before the game started. We lost a starting DT and 2 DE’s prior to kickoff. If the same performance had occurred with our best out there then I’d concur.

And the two TE's may be just as big of a loss. We would have had a TE pass all day long.

Just needs to reflect on his game, the game, and process a tad bit faster. He'll get there.

He looked pretty good for a THIRD string guy who only played Long Snapper before.Not fleet but nothing wrong with his blocking generally..
 
Since there was so much talk about UCF’s OL and DL being soft, 10 of their players being out, 4 of their players being lost to the NFL, it being their 1st game of the season, their practice time being limited, and they not being a Power 5 conference team:
How is it that they crushed us?

We were also down a bunch of players. We shot ourselves in the foot a lot. Refs didn’t call anything. Defense finally wore down after, what, 90 plays?

UCF is also pretty good offensively, but if we hadn’t left so many points on the field it wouldn’t have been a blowout.

You'll have your answer this wkend if they don't kill E.Carolina by 40. (the line is 28)
 
The UCF game was a disaster.
We gave up almost 700 yards.
Glad they ran out the clock the last 4 minutes of the game.

The UCF game should have been much closer. The officials cheated.
