I hope we get SEC refs in Starkville or a crew from another conference. When you call attention to the incompetence that invariably favors their beloved Tarheels, John Swofford and his passive aggressive staff will get you. Tech fans, players, and CPJ dared to question the calls of the ACC refs against the team the conference so desperately wants to make it to an ACC title game. Mark it down, we will pay at some crucial points this season and beyond. They don't forget.

We don't want SEC refs. They have been conditioned to favor the SEC team. i.e. punishing the refs for the fumble call against UGA back in the 90's.

Good call. And I guarantee if there are SEC refs we'll see the first chop block call vs GT this year.

Usually the away team provides the refs. At least that is the case in the UGA series.

I still have vivid memories of the 2006 GA Tech-UGAG game in the cesspool with ACC officials. Reggie fumbles, and the ball is under the pile with the Ref and Umpire in the pile looking for the ball. The Linesman come running in a puts his hand up correctly signaling dead ball, 4th down. Just then Taylor pulls the ball loose and takes off. The GA Tech players don't even chase him.

The Linesman has the chance to tell the Ref, "No, I signalled dead ball." But what do they do? Have one of their patented huddles and rule it a TD.

So who knows? Just who knows? Can we get Big Ten or PAC 10 officials?

If the wuss swofford acc refs make those calls against the home team in Sville, there asses won't get out.

But them again, we aren't duke or unc.
