Reminder (Like we need it...) WEAR WHITE

As lame as it sounds, I actually had a dream about the game on Thursday night, where I walked into the stadium (which looked more like Clemson's than BDS) and was the ONLY one wearing white.

I know they've been advertising. I've gotten the emails, I saw it last Saturday emblazoned on the MegaJacketTron (do we really have to call it that?) and the weather is gonna be warm so no excuse for people who don't have a white jacket... but for some reason I just don't see it working out the way we want it to...

How do you think it will turn out? Half-and-half? Students only (like the Miami game)? Or will the alumni and others in the East and West stands suck it up and show some support to make it legit?
 
As a student, after seeing the support for GT at the home opener (46,000 - really impressed me) I think Bobby Dodd is gonna be whiter than rice in a snowstorm in 2 days. I know the students are covered on shirts, but please tell everyone you know that is going to the game to wear white. Students love it, players love it, and ESPN loves it.

I don't. Most of the students I have talked to don't know it's a white out. Unless they give shirts out again it's going to look like ****.

yeah, they're gonna be giving away free shirts for students... I mean, if you don't have a shirt, wear a freakin tank top or something haha. Undershirts are all-white, so they show more support than anyone else... I'm doing my part, my friends and family are doing their part, and I'm not worried about the students at all... its just the.... others... ha

by the way: the things that are white post? I could hear Peter Griffin "That... was......... aaaaaaaaaawesome" haha
 
I'm thinking 75% of the Tech fans wear white. However, I'm also thinking that 30% of the stadium will be Clemson fans(thus wearing orange.) So my prediction is that 52.5% of the stadium will be white.

Also, no, you definitely do not have to call it the "MegaJacketTron." You can just call it the video board. In fact, I think most would prefer it that way.

+ a lot. Tough to dispute the Tech nerd stereotype when our scoreboard is called that.

Edit: This whiteout seems much better planned and advertised and the weather is no excuse this time. I do not think UM was planned until well into the season last year. BUT, we are playing an opponent who will send many more fans vs. last time.
 
I haven't heard of this but I haven't been reading my email either. Though, I figured I would of heard something at the game or tailgate about it but nope.

Do not have my tickets in front of me, but think it is on the tickets as well.
 
I will be donning a crisp Ricotta shade with just a splash of Meringue --which will look just smashing given the color I picked up over the weekend. :hay:
