Response from Braine to former S/A

I'm at the point where I am not even mad anymore but what bothers me is that now brainless doesn't even care anymore and he knows that Clough won't fire or buy him out so he is going to be an arrogant ass for as long as he is here and laugh at us because he can't be touched. I just hope after this is said and done the right person comes in reunites and rebuilds this great and historic program to where it should be. Dave in a way I feel sorry for you because you have lost any legacy you think you built here at Tech and you will be forgotten as soon as the locks on your door are changed.

Has anyone else noticed that you never see Braine & Schuerholtz (sp?) together? Neither can come out and say they made mistakes. Both hide behind their above average but not great performances. Both seem to possess an attitude that the fans' opinions are crap unless the fans' opinions are theirs. Sort of freaky, huh?

Funny how we don't have any peers when it comes to talking about recruiting and academics but we suddenly find 29 peers when we need to justify a bad idea. We can't fill up our stadium when all you have to do is pay the ticket price but suddenly we can attract those who would be willing to pay an additional $1500.

When you have a small fan base to begin with, why would an AD think his organization can continually provide poor customer service? It should be the opposite. Oh well, I just want to see the photos that Braine must have on Clough to allow him to keep his job.

According to AP writer Paul Newberry in an article he wrote in June, Braine dead's contract runs out in 2007. That day can't come soon enough.

Absolutely!

Remember to pick up your tee shirt before the Clemson game. Hmmm, maybe this is why its not being televised. I can't remember the last time Tech/ Climpsom wasn't on tv !

Maybe the Braine less idiot didn't see Cracker's Picture of the East 50 yeard line. It is a damn shame ther is not accountability anymore unless you are a coach.

while i understand everyone's frustration, i think that when it comes to a seating plan that will likely be in effect from now until the stadium is reconfigured again there was no way NOT to make a move toward offering more seats at premium pricing -- this is the trend in all athletic stadiums

i think it should be also stated that if fans were so loyal then they WOULD buy the seats, just like they do at all the "big state schools". there are enough alumni that make enough money

anyway, while i dont think the entirety of the situation was handled very expertly, i think that they had to make this move now, and think for the long-term and not just for this year or next like most of you seem to (or at least not past 2007)

I'll say it again, like I said 2 months ago, before we had proof of the ticketgate. Arthur Blank has written the next MBA Textbook for How to Market an organization effectively- one that was 30 years of crap, was turned around in a year. The GTAA is the Main Case Study on How NOT to Market an organization. All the "studies" forgot to study the "price point" threshhold (just made that up but it sounded good). Obviously, they not only have done a pathetic job marketing, but they mis-priced the deal by a lot. They should have lowered the price to let's say $500-$750, then, if demand increased (which would probably come if you had a winner)you could raise prices, as Blank did this year with the Falcons. Not hard to figure out for most, and it is that simple.
