maybe it was just me, but it seemed like the reverb through the stadium speakers was a good second or two behind the band... i dont remember it being that bad last year in sec 122... anyone else notice this? or was this my soberest game in two years...

PS the new board looks GREAT

ok im sure this will spawn some comments about how this is crap and we should worry about other things and blah blah blah, this isnt the end of the world for me, i just wanted some opinions...
 
The video board had a hellacious delay to it, it wasn't just you. I don't know what needs to be done to fix that, if it even can, but someone should look into it.
 
No, it was terrible and a really big disappointment. I believe what happened is they actually prerecorded the fight songs and tried to play them in sync with the band, which obviously will never work. If you listened to the other things the band played, they had microphone there and fed it through to the speakers. It wasn't as loud, but at least it was in sync.

I was in section 111, right next to the band, and I couldn't hear the band at all during the fight songs. It was really tough to do the cheers right. Definitely need to get that fixed.

I think they actually were micing the band, because some of the other songs they played came through the loud speakers. However, there was a terrible delay between the actual playing, and the feed from the microphone.
