Rich Rodriguez to Clemson?

That would mean option football in the ACC. That would never work. Defenses are too fast. Players are too big. The lines are too white.
 
Nothing more than a scare tactic (for UM fans / admin). RichRod is already pining for more money.
 
Skip Holtz is their guy!! I just don't see who is available this year. They really screwed up extending his contract.......worse than Braine did to us.

It's a catch-22. If you don't show stability within the coaching staff, then your recruiting will suffer. So, either way you're potentially hurting the program.

If Clempsun wants to get Holtz, more power to 'em. I think we all know what happened the last time a Coach of the Year candidate from ECU came to the ACC. :angryfire:

Muschamp will be wanted by a few schools. Especially if Aubie axes Tuberville.

I read somewhere that Vandy's coach has a Clemson exit clause. I don't know anything more then that about it, so please take with liberal amounts of salt.
 
Yeah, Mark Bradley has an article on AJC about Bobby Johnson. He would be a great pick-up for Clemson and a good addition to some strong coaches that the ACC is beginning to stockpile (CPJ, Beamer, Davis, Jags at BC, O'Brien at NCSU, etc.).

B. Johnson was my top pick for Tech's coach. I wouldn't have it any other way with Paul. However, B has done a great job at Vandy.

Muschamp and Skip Holtz seem to be likely choices, as well. However, not as good as Bobby Johnson.
 
Even if they hire Bobby Johnson, GT's Johnson will always be bigger, harder, and smarter than theirs.
 
Bobby Johnson is a Clemson man. Of course he would fit.

Auburn: Will Muschamp
