Rich Rodriguez to Clemson?

bobby johnson hasn't done anything at Vandy. Not even a single winning season so far. One season = great coach?

Obviously you don't remember what dissaray that program was in. Bobby Johnson is a helluva coach for what he has done with what hes had.

Throw in the fact that he's competing with the likes of Florida, UGA, Tennessee, etc...yeah, Bobby Johnson is a pretty good coach.

Vandy doesn't even have an athletic department. In reality it's treated like a club sport or at least that's what my old Bills teammate said, He played for Vandy back in my days at Tech.

Did they ever "un-cut" their athletic department, or do they still have no AD?

Vanderbilt College will eliminate its athletic department in a major shakeup designed to curb the ills of big-time college athletics. Vanderbilt will continue playing intercollegiate sports, but the reorganization merges the departments that control varsity and intramural athletics, putting sports under the central university administration, the school said Tuesday.
"There is a wrong culture in athletics, and I'm declaring war on it," Vanderbilt Chancellor Gordon Gee said at a news conference.
No NCAA sports programs or jobs will be eliminated, but just about everything else will change at a school that has run one of the country's cleanest programs in the last half-century. That includes the elimination of the athletic director position, which Todd Turner has held for seven years.

i dont know why you guys think a screaming, yelling coordinator makes a good HC. Name one.

Well - Paul Johnson !!

well, obviously he was a long time head coach when we hired him.

also, while he is intense and i am sure that he is vocal at times, he has a demeanor more appropriate than screaming BMFY and jumping all around.

not saying that the guy cant or wont be a great HC somewhere, but he might be better off starting at a smaller program.

Will Muschamp would turn out just like Bo Pelini over in Nebraska. What is he 3-3 with the 3 wins coming against cupcakes?

This isn't a great indicator though. The cupboard had gotten pretty bare at Nebraska with the last regime. I know it's hard to think with that school and their tradition, but the Callahan era did not go well for them.
